Ahhhh...pecan trees. My parents have quite a few in the yard. My dad used to pay us 25 cents a pound to pick them up. Then we found out he was selling them for $2 a pound. That's how he taught 6 and 8 year olds about wholesale vs. retail.
I don't think I've picked up pecans since.
